Our charity took over the centre’s running in 2014 and secured a 30-year lease in the process. We turned the centre into a vibrant, welcoming, resourceful place for local residents to learn, socialise and volunteer.

Our main hall is 52ft x 32ft and large enough to hold 60 people comfortably. It’s ideal for holding film screenings or hosting a community meal, and it’s regularly used for choirs, exercise groups and social gatherings.

Our kitchen can be hired to cook for community meals, cooking demonstrations, or prepare food for your catering business. We operate the kitchen under the Food Standards Agency’s ‘Safer Food, Better Business’ standards.

The outside court has floodlighting, a climbing frame and slide, picnic benches and plenty of space to run around. It has been used for cycle parties, a storytelling arena with straw bales for seats, and an exercise area.

Children’s parties, £42 per hour

Saturdays, 2 pm – 5 pm, for children aged 13 and under. You will have full use of the whole centre grounds, hall, kitchen and lounge.
